Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with accuracy and care to produce high-quality images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment while following safety and quality protocols
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality through every step of the imaging process
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other staff to support patient care and workflow
• Document images and patient information clearly and accurately in electronic systems
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards at all times
• Assist with patient positioning and provide clear instructions to obtain diagnostic images
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered experience through compassionate communication

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
• State Radiologic Technologist license (or ability to obtain for assignment state)
• ARRT certification preferred or registry-eligible depending on facility requirements
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Comfort working in a fast-paced hospital environment and adapting to rotating shifts
• Strong teamwork mindset and professional communication skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited radiologic technology program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
• Familiarity with PACS and electronic health record systems
• Understanding of radiation safety principles and best practices
• Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Good patient handling skills for a diverse patient population
• Basic troubleshooting and equipment care knowledge
