Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies while maintaining patient safety and comfort
• Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment, ensuring image quality and proper protocols
• Follow infection control procedures and required screening/vaccination protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Complete required competency checklists and exams to demonstrate clinical proficiency

Qualifications

• CT Technologist (as listed in primary skills) with current licensure/certification (License/Certificate Verification required)
• DCI/BVP certification (listed as required)
• BLS certification current and on-file
• Successful completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam and Prime Skills Checklist
• Successful Prime drug screening (minimum 10-panel) and required health clearances
• Up-to-date vaccinations and testing as listed: COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, Varicella, Tdap, TB testing/clearance, and fit test

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and patient positioning
• Proficiency with CT scanner operation and related clinical software
• Understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Excellent patient care, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to follow competency checklists and adapt to facility-specific workflows
• Comfort working independently on night-shift assignments
