Roles & Responsibilities

Assist with planning, directing, organizing, monitoring and staffing the Case Management Department to deliver top-notch care
Provide expert oversight of case management, discharge planning and utilization review
Lead, inspire and guide management, medical staff and clinical teams in organization-wide case management activities
Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies while driving strategic operational planning
Continuously assess, measure and improve departmental performance for outstanding patient outcomes
Demonstrate responsible management of resources and foster staff professional growth

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Current Montana Licensure as a Registered Nurse
Three years leadership experience in a high volume case management program in a hospital or clinic setting
Preferred: Master’s degree in Nursing, MBA or related field
Preferred: Case Management leadership experience in a high volume hospital or clinic setting

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Preferred: Master’s degree in Nursing, MBA or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Strong leadership and managerial skills with ability to plan, delegate, monitor and improve performance
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Creativity, problem analysis and sharp decision making
Sound judgement, patience and professional demeanor in busy environments
Detail-oriented with top-notch organizational and prioritization skills
Proficiency in standard office equipment, MS Office, EMR and internet applications
