Location: Redding, California

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with options for 10-hour and 12-hour shifts; mids start at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for each procedure
- Assist surgeons during a wide range of cases including CVOR, ortho, neuro, and trauma
- Maintain sterile technique and support the surgical team throughout every case
- Collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor and OR leadership to deliver excellent patient care
- Document procedures accurately using Cerner Surginet
- Monitor patients with Phillips Telemetry and respond promptly to any changes
Qualifications
- Current Surgical Tech certification or license
- Strong hands-on experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine procedures
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced OR environment with diverse case types
- Ability to take 1-2 weeknight calls per week and occasional weekend call
- Familiarity with Cerner Surginet and Phillips Telemetry preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with Cerner Surginet documentation
- Experience monitoring Phillips Telemetry
- Skilled in CVOR procedures including CABG, valve replacements, and lead extractions
- Knowledge of ortho, neuro/spine, ENT, and trauma cases
- Strong sterile technique and OR protocol adherence
