Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC Float Pool
Location: Centennial, Colorado
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and trauma
- Titrate and manage critical drips including cardiac medications, insulin, heparin, and Ativan with precision and safety
- Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support various PCU/IMC units while maintaining excellent patient outcomes
- Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality progressive care
- Monitor and assess patients with complex conditions while ensuring comfort and safety at every step
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMC experience
- Comfortable with cardiac drip titration and managing insulin, heparin, and Ativan drips
- Epic experience preferred, neuro experience a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for progressive care patients
- Ability to adapt quickly when floating between different units and facilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfort managing multiple patient assignments with 1:3-4 ratios
- Flexibility to work various shifts and help fill scheduling gaps
