Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care across ICU, Step-Down, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, and Medical-Surgical units
- Apply the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments following approved protocols and state regulations
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans that include patient and family education
- Document care accurately and participate in performance improvement initiatives
- Utilize critical thinking to ensure patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately
Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Current ACLS, BLS/BCLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Willingness to float between ICU and Medical-Surgical units as needed
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong cardiac telemetry and critical care expertise
- Excellent documentation and medication administration skills
- Ability to think critically and prioritize in fast-paced environments
- Comfortable floating across multiple specialty units
