Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult patients on a busy 40-bed Progressive Care Unit
- Manage titratable drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
- Interpret telemetry strips and respond promptly to cardiac changes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed while maintaining PCU-level care standards
- Champion patient experience by focusing on communication, responsiveness, and education
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Competency managing arterial lines
- Minimum one year of recent PCU or step-down experience preferred
- Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90 percent score during orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation skills
- Experience with arterial lines and titratable drips
- Excellent communication and adaptability
- Comfort working with diverse cultural populations
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and accept feedback
