Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across multiple units including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
Manage a diverse patient population from adults to geriatrics with conditions ranging from post-surgical recovery to stable long-term placement
Titrate Heparin drips and monitor patients with varying acuity levels
Collaborate with designated charge nurses and nursing assistants to deliver safe, high-quality care
Float within a 60-mile zone to support sister facilities and fill scheduling gaps as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float across multiple specialties and adapt to varying patient ratios of 1:5-6

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across telemetry and medical-surgical units
Comfortable managing cardiac drips and monitoring diverse patient populations
Flexible and adaptable to changing assignments and floating requirements
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
