Registered Nurse - MS/Tele Float Pool
Location: Centennial, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care across multiple specialties including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
- Float throughout Zone 1 facilities within a 60-mile radius, adapting quickly to new units and patient populations
- Manage a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio while monitoring adults through geriatrics with diverse diagnoses
- Titrate Heparin drips and respond to changing patient acuity levels across MS-Tele, PCU, and ICU holds
- Collaborate with designated charge nurses and nursing assistants to deliver safe, high-quality care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience
- Neuro experience preferred
- Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and adapt to various units and schedules
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across telemetry and medical-surgical patients
- Comfort with floating to Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation units
- Experience titrating Heparin drips and managing varied patient acuities
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced float pool environment
