Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Start Date: 07-13-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Variable shifts, 40 hours per week plus call as needed
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive adult echocardiograms including 2D-Mode, Doppler CW & PW, color flow mapping, and valvular disease studies
- Conduct 2D and 3D transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) with precision and care
- Evaluate cardiomyopathies, congenital heart disease, pericardial disease, and hypertensive heart disease
- Utilize state-of-the-art Canon i700 and i900 equipment to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with Epic EMR documentation standards
Qualifications
- Active RDCS certification (ARDMS or CCI accepted)
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of acute hospital echocardiography experience
- Competent to proficient in adult echocardiography procedures
- Pediatric echocardiography experience is a plus, not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Adult Echocardiography including 2D-Mode, Doppler, and color flow mapping
- Valvular disease, cardiomyopathies, and congenital heart studies
- 2D & 3D TEE procedures
- Epic EMR documentation
- Canon i700 and i900 equipment operation
