Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care across MS-Tele and specialty units
Float within a 60-mile zone to support facilities and fill critical staffing needs
Monitor and manage patients with cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, renal, and trauma diagnoses
Titrate Heparin drips and respond to changing patient acuity levels
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care
Support patients through post-surgical recovery, detox, and long-term placement needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and adapt to various units and schedules

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across multiple specialties
Comfort with floating to ICU holds, PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele units
Experience with vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and drip titration
Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Ability to work 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule and occasional holidays
