Surgical Tech - CST
Location: Kearney, Nebraska
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts with one weeknight call per week until 7:00 AM next morning and three 24-hour weekend call shifts per month
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub independently for cranial procedures and neuro-trauma cases
- Assist with orthopedic total joint and trauma surgeries using advanced robotics
- Prepare operating rooms and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia teams in a fast-paced environment
- Support patient safety initiatives and speak up when concerns arise
- Handle Davinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis equipment with confidence
Qualifications
- Current CST certification preferred with BLS required
- Strong experience in ortho trauma and total joint procedures
- Ability to independently scrub cranial and neuro cases
- Comfortable taking neuro-trauma call and responding within 15 minutes
- EPIC EMR experience is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Expert scrubbing skills for complex neuro and ortho trauma cases
- Familiarity with Davinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude in fast-paced settings
- Commitment to patient safety and clear communication
- Flexibility to adapt to varying case volumes and schedules
