Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive speech therapy services to adult inpatients and premature infants in the NICU
Conduct modified barium swallow studies to assess swallowing function
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with communication and swallowing disorders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and progress

Qualifications

Current Speech Language Pathologist license in California
Experience performing modified barium swallow studies required
Ability to work with both adult acute care patients and premature infants
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills

Knowledge & Skills

Modified Barium Swallow Studies expertise
Adult inpatient acute care experience
NICU feeding assessment skills
