Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Triage and assess patients quickly and compassionately to prioritize care
Provide urgent care treatments and administer medications safely
Perform wound care, splinting, and assist with minor procedures
Obtain and review EKGs and vital signs to support timely diagnoses
Document assessments, interventions, and patient education clearly in the EMR
Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
Maintain infection control, safety standards, and a welcoming patient experience

Qualifications

Active RN license in California (required)
Experience in urgent care, emergency department, or similar fast-paced clinical setting preferred
Current BLS certification required; advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS) are a plus
Comfort with triage, urgent interventions, and working independently during overnight shifts
Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with patients and team members

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid patient assessment and triage skills
Proficiency in wound care, splinting, and basic procedure assistance
IV insertion and medication administration competence
Comfortable with EKG acquisition and basic interpretation
Accurate, timely EMR documentation and charting
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced urgent care environment
