Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, weekends required, no block scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care to neuro stepdown patients, monitoring vital signs and responding swiftly to changes
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and execute personalized treatment plans
Administer medications and treatments with precision while educating patients and families
Utilize EPIC system to document care accurately and efficiently
Support med/surg patients as needed, showcasing your versatility and expertise

Qualifications

Active RN license with Nursys verification
Minimum 2 years experience in neuro stepdown or strong med/surg with stepdown exposure
NIHSS certification required in CV packet
ACLS certification
EPIC experience a must

Education

RN degree from accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in NIHSS stroke scale assessment
Strong neuro stepdown and med/surg patient care
EPIC electronic health record navigation
Excellent clinical judgment and patient advocacy
