Roles & Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor advanced CT equipment to deliver precise diagnostic scans
• Safely position patients and administer contrast media following radiologist protocols
• Capture and store high-quality images for critical medical reviews
• Maintain equipment through daily calibrations and quality controls
• Monitor patient safety, respond to emergencies, and ensure a clean work environment
• Collaborate with radiologists on specialized procedures to aid accurate diagnoses
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care

Qualifications

• Active Michigan radiology license or verification
• 2+ years of CT experience required
• Phillips CT scanner experience required
• Traveler experience preferred
• Skills checklist completed within the past year preferred
• Current CPR certification
• ARRT certification with CT registry maintenance

Education

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• ARRT certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in computerized tomography scanning and Phillips systems
• Patient positioning and immobilization techniques
• Contrast media administration and allergy monitoring
• Image quality control and digital capture/storage
• Emergency response including basic CPR
• Regulatory compliance with Michigan Department of Public Health standards
