Shift Type: Nights, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, at least every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to adult patients in a 26-bed inpatient behavioral health unit focusing on geriatric psych and bipolar disorders
Maintain optimal nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6 for personalized attention
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to create impactful treatment plans
Float to med-surg or OB when needed, leveraging your versatile experience
Utilize EPIC charting to ensure seamless documentation and patient safety

Qualifications

Active RN license with 2+ years of experience, psych experience highly preferred
BLS certification from AHA required
Comfortable with 60-mile radius rule and driver's license submission
Ready for hands-on orientation with 3 full 12-hour shifts on the unit

Education

RN licensure required, BSN preferred but not mandatory

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in geriatric psych and dementia care
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
Strong floating skills across med-surg and OB units
Crisis intervention in behavioral health settings
