Surgical Tech - CST

Location: Kearney, NE

Start Date: 05-25-2026

End Date: 08-24-2026

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8 or 10 hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM, with call: one weeknight per week until 7:00 AM next morning, three weekend days per month (24-hour shifts), holidays as needed, 15-minute call response

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub and assist in diverse OR cases including orthopedics, urology, ENT, and neuro
Independently perform cranial procedures and handle neuro-trauma call
Support high-volume days with 18 cases across 11 suites
Utilize advanced robotics like Davinci, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis
Champion patient safety in a fast-paced Level II trauma environment
Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia in a positive team setting

Qualifications

CST certification preferred
BLS required
Orthopedic total joint and trauma experience required
Level II trauma experience
General OR scrubbing proficiency

Knowledge & Skills

Orthopedic trauma expertise
Cranial procedures performed independently
Neuro scoring 3s with neuro-trauma call competency
Familiarity with Davinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis
Thrives in fast-paced OR with variety of cases and acuity levels
