Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care to critically ill adults and peds patients in a fast-paced Med Surg ICU
• Titrate vasopressors, sedations, and other critical drips with precision and confidence
• Monitor and interpret Draeger telemetry strips independently to ensure patient safety
• Collaborate with charge nurses, attendings, and residents in a true team environment
• Float to inpatient units as needed, expanding your skills across the hospital
• Manage advanced equipment like CVPs, A-lines, CRRT, and ICP monitoring with real-time training support

Qualifications

• Active RN license with 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Valid driver's license to confirm 50-mile radius rule compliance
• Positive attitude, critical thinking, and willingness to ask questions and help teammates

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in managing respiratory failure, sepsis, strokes, and cardiogenic shock
• Proficiency titrating drips including vasopressors, paralytics, and antiarrhythmics
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips on Draeger monitors
• Familiarity with vents from nasal cannula to full support, plus troubleshooting RT equipment
