Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend and every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and care for patients on telemetry, tracking heart rhythms and vital signs
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed with precision and compassion
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery plans
Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate care as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Iowa or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 1 year of recent medical-surgical or telemetry experience preferred
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Expertise in medical-surgical nursing including wound care, IV therapy, and patient assessment
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent documentation and teamwork abilities
