Location: Great Falls, Montana

Start Date: 07-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, includes weekends as scheduled

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide care to hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients in a cardiac medical surgical unit
Operate advanced medical equipment including central lines, chest tubes, A-lines, multiple IVs, and ventilators
Assess and implement established policies and procedures with minimal supervision
Act as a clinical leader and assist with precepting staff
Provide direct care for patients from admission to discharge, including discharge planning

Qualifications

Current State of Montana RN Licensure required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Recent Critical Care experience required
Open heart recovery experience required
Degree from an Accredited Nursing Program

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
Degree from an Accredited Nursing Program

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced Nursing Principles and Procedures
Use of multiple IV pumps and advanced medical equipment
A-lines, invasive lines, chest tubes
Noninvasive and invasive ventilatory support
Basic cardiac telemetry and EKG interpretation
Critical care, CVICU, and open heart experience preferred
