Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts, every other weekend and every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU
Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic parameters
Administer medications and advanced life support as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Iowa (or compact state)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
TNCC and NIHSS certifications strongly preferred
Minimum 1 year of ICU experience appreciated
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and ventilator management
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Comfortable using electronic health records
Dedication to delivering exceptional patient-centered care
