Roles & Responsibilities

Lead the NICU nursing team during your shift, guiding patient care and workflow
Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges with the interdisciplinary team
Provide direct, hands-on neonatal care and ongoing assessment for critically ill infants
Mentor and support bedside staff, fostering a culture of safety and learning
Communicate effectively with families, offering compassionate updates and education
Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to unit policies and best practices

Qualifications

Active RN licensure required
Experience working in a NICU setting; demonstrated charge nurse or leadership experience preferred
Comfortable working as a traveler and adapting to new clinical environments
Strong communication and team coordination skills

Knowledge & Skills

Neonatal clinical assessment and critical care fundamentals
Leadership and team coordination in a fast-paced unit
Family-centered care and clear family communication
Accurate clinical documentation and adherence to protocols
Ability to prioritize and triage in urgent situations
