Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Day shift); Call rotation every 3 weeks; Every third weekend coverage (rotating weekends)

Hours per Week: 13

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver specialized cardiovascular nursing care in the Cath Lab with skill and compassion
Perform thorough patient assessments, monitoring, and documentation before, during, and after procedures
Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Maintain and demonstrate competency through Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and the Trinity Skills Checklist
Respond in call rotation shifts and provide dependable weekend coverage as scheduled
Ensure compliance with required health screenings, immunizations, and safety protocols
Verify and maintain required licenses and certifications to meet facility standards

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) credential as indicated in the job title
BLS certification (required)
NIHSS certification (required)
License/Certificate Verification will be required prior to start
Experience in Cath Lab procedures and cardiovascular nursing (as reflected by core skills)
Willingness to participate in call rotation and every third weekend coverage

Knowledge & Skills

Cath Lab procedures and workflow
Cardiac patient monitoring and assessment
Strong documentation and communication skills
Proficiency in BLS and NIHSS assessments
Ability to complete Trinity specialty competency evaluations
Infection control and standard safety precautions
