Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with on-call rotation including one weekend per month and 4-5 weekdays per pay period; call extends to next morning on weekdays and from Friday end of shift to Monday 7:30 AM on weekends.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in a fast-paced Cath Lab setting
• Monitor patients' vital signs and hemodynamic status during procedures
• Administer medications and sedation as ordered by the physician
• Assist with sterile technique and operation of specialized Cath Lab equipment
• Provide pre- and post-procedure education and care to patients and their families
• Respond to emergencies and code situations with confidence and expertise

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, NIHSS, and CPI certifications required (all must be current)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience preferred
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and catheterization techniques
• Proficient in sterile technique, contrast media administration, and radiation safety
• Skilled in interpreting cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic waveforms
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for a collaborative environment
• Ability to remain calm and focused during high-stress procedures
