Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients before and after surgical, procedural, and interventional cardiology cases
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments including medical history, lab results, and consents
• Manage post-anesthesia recovery with continuous monitoring of airway, vitals, and telemetry
• Monitor access sites for bleeding or complications and manage sheaths
• Administer medications, infusions, and blood products safely with dual-verification
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and cath lab teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Document all care meticulously in electronic health records

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana or compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pre-op, PACU, Cath Lab, or perioperative nursing
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and ATT required
• Proficiency in IV therapy, ECG interpretation, and patient assessment
• Experience with vascular closure devices and sheath management preferred
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation and work weekends/holidays
