Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients on a mixed PCU/Med-Surg unit
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor ventilators and perform hemodynamic assessments to keep patients stable and comfortable
Collaborate with an amazing multidisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, and educators
Float within similar levels of care to support colleagues and expand your clinical skills
Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that truly make a difference

Qualifications

Active RN license and BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
Chemotherapy certification strongly preferred
First-time travelers welcome with a supportive orientation program
Valid driver's license required at submission to confirm travel eligibility

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing expertise
Ventilator management and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
EPIC EMR experience within the last 6 months is helpful but not required
Strong teamwork, adaptability, and genuine compassion for diverse patient populations
