Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to neuro and telemetry patients
Monitor and interpret EKGs while responding quickly to cardiac changes
Collaborate with hospitalists and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families about neuro and cardiopulmonary conditions
Support a smooth admission-to-discharge experience on a 26-bed unit

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry or neuro experience within the last 6 months
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Successful completion of Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam (2 attempts max)
Ability to pass a hands-on Sim Lab on day one of orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
Experience with Airvo/High Flow oxygen therapy
Strong assessment skills for stroke and neuro patients
Comfortable working with centralized telemetry monitoring
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
