Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients across medical-surgical and telemetry units
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities providing expert nursing support in Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
Monitor patients, titrate Heparin drips, and respond to changing acuity levels with confidence
Collaborate with designated charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
Adapt quickly to new units and patient populations while maintaining excellent clinical standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across diverse patient populations
Comfortable floating between MS-Tele, PCU/Stepdown, and low-acuity ICU holds
Proficient with telemetry monitoring, drip titration, and managing post-surgical patients
Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-paced float pool environments
Team-oriented with a positive attitude toward supporting multiple facilities
