Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetic, telemetry, TIA, CVA, and surgical patients
Interpret telemetry strips and sign documentation at least once per shift
Collaborate with remote monitor techs and the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified, expanding your clinical skills and experience
Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in a 48-bed MedSurg/Tele unit with supportive ratios

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience reading basic telemetry strips
Some background with general, orthopedic, CVA, and TIA patients preferred
Cerner experience recommended due to limited orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry strip interpretation
MedSurg/Tele patient care
Cerner documentation system
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work collaboratively with charge nurses and support staff
