Location: St Johnsbury, VT

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours), every other weekend, travelers start on Wednesdays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinate exceptional patient care for adults and occasional pediatrics in a dynamic Med/Surg unit
Deliver comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric services with compassion
Apply the innovative Nursing Process to make critical decisions meeting holistic patient needs
Collaborate with talented professionals including Clinical Nurse Lead and Supervisor
Lead your team to address diverse patient populations with proficiency and heart

Qualifications

At least 3 years of acute care experience, preferably with Meditech
Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure
BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certifications
Flu shot required, no exceptions

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in Med/Surg nursing for adults
Strong Nursing Process application
Proficiency in holistic care addressing physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs
Comfort with Meditech EMR
Team collaboration in a critical access hospital setting
