Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem schedule (days vary), 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM Night shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients during the night shift
Monitor and assess patient condition, responding promptly to changes
Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with facility policies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
Document patient care, observations, and communications clearly and timely
Support patients and families with education, empathy, and clear communication

Qualifications

Active RN or LPN license in the state of Maine (or compact license where applicable)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred where applicable
Demonstrated clinical competence in acute or long-term care settings
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently on per diem shifts
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and infection control practices

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, LPN diploma, or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, and wound care
Comfortable with electronic health records and accurate documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced overnight environment
Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with nursing best practices and standard clinical protocols
