Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6-7 shifts per pay period, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring, postpartum, and antepartum patients
Monitor and titrate medications such as Pitocin, Magnesium, and Procardia
Support patients through all stages of childbirth and recovery
Collaborate with the care team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Educate and support new mothers on breastfeeding and newborn care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and NRP certifications required
Minimum 3 years of labor and delivery experience
Valid driver's license for radius verification
Ability to pass skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in obstetrics
Experience with high-risk pregnancies including hypertension and diabetes
Comfortable with AWHONN staffing guidelines
Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
