Location: Roseburg, Oregon

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour AM/PM shifts with every other weekend requirement and 2 twelve-hour call shifts every 4 weeks

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to mothers throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
Circulate and scrub in the OR for cesarean sections when needed
Monitor fetal heart rates and interpret EFM strips to ensure safe deliveries
Titrate medications such as Pitocin, Fentanyl, and Labetalol with precision
Collaborate with OB techs and the care team to support 850-900 births each year
Respond to obstetrical emergencies with confidence and skill

Qualifications

Active RN license (Oregon license not required at time of submittal - 90-day emergency license available)
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Experience circulating and/or scrubbing in the OR for cesarean sections
Comfortable titrating drips and interpreting fetal monitoring strips

Knowledge & Skills

Strong Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Mother-Baby experience
Familiarity with GE Centricity EFM system and telemetry monitoring
Ability to respond quickly to obstetrical emergencies
Knowledge of AWHONN staffing guidelines
