Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult and pediatric ICU patients
Titrate critical drips including vasopressors, paralytics, and sedation
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips using Draeger heart monitoring
Collaborate with physicians, fellows, and residents on complex cases
Float to inpatient units as needed while maintaining excellent patient outcomes
Respond to rapid response teams and codes alongside the charge nurse

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience
Valid driver's license for radius verification
Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
Experience with vents, CRRT, Impella, IABP, and ICP monitoring preferred
Comfortable asking questions and collaborating in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and willingness to support teammates
