Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate critical care for adult ICU patients and manage a 2:1 patient ratio
• Perform and manage central line and arterial line care with attention to infection prevention
• Provide advanced airway care including intubation and ongoing ventilator management
• Care for patients with EVD placement in collaboration with core staff and specialists
• Document care accurately and efficiently in Meditech (EMR)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams — physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists and other nurses — to create and implement patient-centered plans
• Adhere to unit policies and participate in safe handoffs and shift reports
• Float to related units (BMT, PCU, other ICUs) as needed to support patient care

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the required state (or compact license when applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU/critical care nursing experience (per job posting)
• ACLS certification (required)
• Comfortable with central line and arterial line management, intubation/airway procedures and EVD patient care
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Team player with strong communication skills and accountability

• Central line and arterial line care and troubleshooting
• Intubation and advanced airway management
• EVD patient care and neuro/oncology ICU experience
• Ability to work nights and cover weekend rotations reliably
• Strong teamwork, situational awareness and clinical judgement
