Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in a Burn/Trauma/Surgical ICU environment
• Manage critically ill patients using advanced critical care equipment and protocols
• Participate in code response and massive transfusion protocol activation when needed
• Perform wound care and EVD management with precision and attention to detail
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and team members to support safe transitions of care
• Accurately document patient care and interventions in the Meditech EMR

Qualifications

• Current RN license (required)
• Minimum 1 year of critical care experience; Trauma, Burn or Surgical ICU experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with Meditech EMR is a plus
• Ability to manage codes, MTP and EVDs confidently
• Team-player attitude with strong communication and critical thinking skills
• BSN and CCRN are preferred but not strictly required

Education

• Nursing diploma or ADN required; BSN preferred
• Current RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care nursing for Trauma, Burn and Surgical ICU patients
• Meditech electronic medical record proficiency
• Wound care techniques and EVD management
• Code management and massive transfusion protocol (MTP) experience
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and clear communication skills
• Comfort with high-acuity equipment and ICU monitoring systems
