Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Flexible per diem shifts, 12.5-hour shifts, day/night rotations as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
Triage patients and prioritize care based on acuity level
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide rapid interventions
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
Document patient care accurately and efficiently
Provide education and support to patients and families

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Previous emergency department experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills

Knowledge & Skills

Excellent clinical assessment and triage skills
Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Compassionate patient-centered care approach
