Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity levels
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
Collaborate with a dynamic multidisciplinary team to stabilize acute conditions
Provide patient and family education during critical moments
Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record

Qualifications

Current Louisiana RN license in good standing
Minimum 1 year of recent ED/ER nursing experience preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications required
PALS certification preferred
Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Education

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in emergency nursing protocols and procedures
Proficient in patient assessment and triage
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable with medical equipment and technology
Adaptable and calm under pressure
