Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions and patient responses
• Administer medications and treatments safely per provider orders
• Recognize changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
• Provide patient and family education related to care and discharge needs
• Coordinate care with providers, interdisciplinary teams, and community resources
• Facilitate referrals, follow-up care, and continuity of services
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EHR
• Deliver culturally sensitive, evidence-based nursing care for behavioral health/psychiatry patients
• Participate in quality improvement and maintain required competencies

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Alaska at time of submittal
• Case management experience within the last 2 years
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Proof of flu vaccine required

Education

• Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
