Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, safe patient care during overnight hours
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately
• Administer medications and treatments according to orders and protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for coordinated care
• Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Deliver clear, thorough handoffs and maintain accurate shift notes
• Educate patients and families in a respectful and understandable way
• Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and facility policies

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (RN or LPN)
• Active BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Comfort working overnight hours and managing clinical priorities independently
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Previous acute care or long-term care experience preferred but not required

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, diploma, or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and documentation
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments
• Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
• Skilled at prioritization, clinical decision-making, and time management
• Competent in basic emergency response and escalation procedures
• Customer-service mindset when interacting with patients and families
