Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams with precision and compassion to support accurate patient diagnoses
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment safely and effectively while minimizing radiation exposure
• Deliver excellent patient care and communication during night/weekend hours when comfort matters most
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring quality control and timely escalation of issues
• Document images and patient information accurately in the electronic imaging/PACS system
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the clinical team to provide coordinated patient care
• Complete required competency checklists and specialty testing to meet Trinity standards

Qualifications

• Valid Radiologic Technologist license (state) — required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification — required
• Availability for weekend night shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights)
• Ability to pass Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
• Up-to-date health requirements and screenings: COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, physical/health statement
• Successful completion of Fit Test, Trinity 10-panel drug screen, color vision screening, and license/certificate verification

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent (preferred)
• ARRT registration preferred or equivalent credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in radiographic positioning, image acquisition, and exposure techniques
• Familiarity with PACS and electronic documentation best practices
• Strong patient care skills and the ability to communicate clearly with patients and providers
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles and infection control protocols
• Comfort working independently during night shifts and making sound clinical judgments
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
