Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist on cardiac cath cases, including STEMI activations, delivering precise, timely support in high-stakes situations
• Monitor patients intra-procedurally using MacLab and facility EMR, ensuring accurate case charting and safety
• Operate and support cath lab equipment such as GE X-ray systems, Impella, IABP, IVUS/OCT, FFR/RFR and atherectomy devices
• Collaborate with RNs, techs and physicians to manage patient flow, turnover and transport across partner facilities
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and instrumentation to uphold high infection-control standards
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide rapid response for emergent cath lab cases

Qualifications

• ARRT or RCIS certification required; RT with cath lab experience acceptable
• Minimum of 1 year of cath lab or relevant procedural experience (scrubbing and/or monitoring cases)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Proven ability to scrub cardiac cath cases and support STEMI call
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural environment and participating in on-call rotations and alternating weekends

Education

• ARRT certification or RCIS credential (required)
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology or cardiac procedural program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with cath lab workflows and patient monitoring
• Familiarity with MacLab case charting and Meditech EMR
• Experience with GE X-ray equipment and mechanical circulatory support devices like Impella and IABP
• Procedural skills for IVUS/OCT, FFR/RFR and atherectomy support
• Strong teamwork, communication and adaptability in multidisciplinary procedural teams
