Roles & Responsibilities

• Observe and evaluate treatment effects and recommend treatment changes to physicians and team members as needed
• Perform appropriate patient assessments to establish baseline function and progress
• Provide therapeutic care to patients with neuromuscular, skeletal, integumentary, pulmonary, and cardiovascular conditions
• Select and implement evidence-based therapeutic procedures to maintain, improve, and restore patient functions
• Document patient progress and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Physical Therapy license (required)
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification (required)
• Willingness to relocate to and work in a rural community (required)
• Comfort working as part of a close-knit, collaborative healthcare team

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and evaluation skills
• Treatment planning and implementation of therapeutic procedures
• Experience with rehabilitation for neuromuscular, skeletal, integumentary, pulmonary, and cardiovascular disorders
• Ability to evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust plans accordingly
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with physicians and other clinical staff
