Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on physical therapy treatments under PT direction, making real differences in patient recovery
• Observe and document patient progress with precision, ensuring every step forward is captured
• Prioritize patient safety in every interaction, creating secure environments for healing
• Collaborate seamlessly with the therapy team to provide top-notch care
• Manage time effectively to handle 8-9 patients daily with care and efficiency
• Maintain clean, organized treatment spaces and utilize modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation safely

Qualifications

• Hold an active Physical Therapist Assistant license in California
• Graduate of an APTA-approved Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Maintain current BCLS certification
• Bring experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or outpatient physical therapy a plus

• Proficiency in physical therapy procedures including therapeutic exercise, gait training, and neuromuscular re-education
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with patients, families, and teams
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Competence with Microsoft Office for data organization and charting
• Problem-solving strategies to adapt and improve patient outcomes
