Roles & Responsibilities

• Observe and evaluate treatment effects and recommend necessary treatment changes to physicians and team members
• Perform thorough patient assessments to establish baseline function and needs
• Provide hands-on care for patients with neuromuscular, skeletal, integumentary, pulmonary, and cardiovascular conditions
• Select and implement appropriate therapeutic procedures to maintain, improve, and restore function
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, home programs, and safe mobility strategies

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Physical Therapy license required
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required
• Willingness to relocate to and live in a rural community (relocation assistance may be available)
• Strong patient assessment and therapeutic intervention skills
• Comfort working in a collaborative, team-focused healthcare environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient evaluation and treatment planning
• Therapeutic interventions and rehabilitation techniques
• Experience with neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, integumentary, pulmonary and cardiovascular patient populations
• Clinical documentation, critical thinking, and patient education
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration
