Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Friday-Monday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (9-10 hour days)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients in acute care settings to craft personalized rehab plans
Deliver hands-on therapy using cutting-edge techniques to improve mobility and function
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including PTAs, OTs and speech therapists
Coordinate care across units in single-patient rooms for focused treatment
Document progress in Cerner PowerChart to track meaningful outcomes
Utilize patient lifting equipment and gait training tools to ensure safe, effective sessions

Qualifications

Active North Carolina Physical Therapy license
BLS certification
At least 2 years of experience, with acute care preferred
Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy

Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Strong foundation in orthopedics, neurology and cardiopulmonary rehab
Experience with acute care procedures and patient evaluation
Comfortable navigating hospital-wide assignments with 1:1 patient ratios
Proficiency in Cerner PowerChart documentation
