Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7 on/7 off, 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the outpatient pharmacy, keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently
Oversee staffing and workflow, assigning duties to ensure top-notch patient care
Maintain strict compliance standards while acting as a key liaison between staff and supervisors
Deliver comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services to diverse patients from pediatrics to geriatrics
Provide direct patient care and technical guidance to pharmacists, technicians, and support staff
Coordinate operations and ensure consistent, high-quality service in line with hospital policies

Qualifications

Current valid unrestricted pharmacy license in any US state or territory
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 3 years experience as a registered pharmacist

Education

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-recognized school
OR Bachelor of Pharmacy (BS-Pharm) with 3 years experience from an ACPE-recognized school

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in pharmacy services and outpatient operations
Strong medication management and staff coordination
Knowledge of compliance standards and workflow optimization
Patient-focused care across pediatrics, adults, oncology, and more
