Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM day shift with weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient evaluations to create personalized recovery plans
Guide patients through ADLs, transfers and therapeutic exercises with compassion
Deliver hands-on functional training to restore independence and confidence
Educate patients and families to empower lasting progress
Collaborate with PT, SLP and tech teams in a dynamic 30-bed rehab unit

Qualifications

Active OT license in good standing
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience, especially in inpatient rehab settings
Comfortable with Meditech Expanse documentation system

Education

Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from accredited program
Eligible for Florida OT licensure

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in balance and gait training systems
Proficiency with typical IPR gym equipment
Strong patient education and family communication skills
Adaptability to new hospital environments and fast-paced teams
