Location: Bethel, Alaska

Start Date: 11-18-2025

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (32 hours/week)

Hours per Week: 32

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver quality outpatient and inpatient occupational therapy to patients of all ages
Conduct home visits and village travel to reach those in need
Collaborate closely with medical providers using Alaska's Direct Access privilege
Incorporate evidence-based medicine into personalized care plans
Adapt treatments with cultural sensitivity and patient-specific considerations
Support the mission of working together for excellent health

Qualifications

Licensed as an OT in Alaska or eligible with good-standing license from another state
NBCOT certification required
Current BLS certification
2 years of experience preferred
Proof of COVID vaccinations and full immunization panel including Hepatitis A/B, Varicella, MMR, T-Dap, Polio

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication with diverse cultures and non-English speakers
Ability to analyze occupational therapy literature and compose documentation
Didactic skills for direct access patient care
Proficiency with therapy equipment from hi-lo tables to ultrasound modalities
